GALLERY

This section of the website contains a selection of photographs featuring June in situations that she loved best - surrounded by children. June's unconditional love for all the children that she met was clear from an early age.

Her own childhood was difficult and was beset by both bullying and abuse. She was determined that this would never happen to any children over which she had an influence and some of her happiest and most treasured moments were spent as a mother, grandmother and godmother.

The photographs cover her time working at a school for children with special needs in High Wycombe, the Edward Bear Mother & Toddler Club in Mirfield and her work at the Salvation Army's Corps in Esmeraldas, Ecuador.

The drawings were commissioned from the British artist, Jake Sutton.
